Good wishes for the Winter Solstice ... and Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Joyful Kwanzaa! December's a month of many holidays, but the 8th graders have now learned about even more than these. Every month this school year, as part of their Global Studies class with instructor Kristen Gianaris, they've been researching festivals and celebrations from all around the world, creating informative posters, and finally presenting for their classmates. The best part: after presentations, the class has lined the hallway with their posters to raise awareness and share them with the school!
