About the Organization

Located just north of Seattle in Shoreline, Washington, The Evergreen School has been educating highly capable, creative learners for over 60 years. Our students love to ask questions, and our teachers use that natural curiosity to craft engaging lessons and spark thought-provoking conversations.

The Evergreen School seeks applicants to support our after-school child care program for preschool to 8th grade students.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 2:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

Wage rate: $24.46/hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Playing with and supervising children safely
  • Leading activity projects
  • Preparing healthy snacks
  • Monitoring recess
  • Communicating with parents/guardians
  • Working closely with a team of extended day providers
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience, Education and Desirable Skills

Applicants must have experience working with school-age children and knowledge of child development.
