Inline Skating

Skating is a great way to have fun in the outdoors and get fit! Skate Journeys instructors teach both beginning and the more advanced levels of skaters. Children will be taught the basic foundation of skate moves which includes striding, stopping, and turning. Additional skills taught include the "rules of the road", how to fall properly backwards, and various tricks. To enroll in the advanced camp, children must have previously taken one of Skate Journeys beginning camps or classes. Skate Journeys provides the proper sized K2 skates for each child plus all the protective gear (except for helmets). Please provide your child with a helmet. Don't worry if your child has never skated before because the instructors of Skate Journeys specialize in teaching the child who may be nervous and/or has never tried the sport.
