art. Each class will be an opportunity for the student to think
creatively and express themselves through multi-media projects.

Artist a Day
Each day a different artist and their style will be introduced
and discussed. Each student will do his/her own art piece in that

Beginning
and Advanced Sewing with Machines
Children can spend their week learning to
sew or improving their sewing skills. A sewing machine will be provided
for each student to use during class. Beginning students will start
with a tote bag and pencil pouch. Advanced students will be able to

patterns and projects will be available for both boys and girls. No
previous sewing experience is necessary.

Drawing
and Painting
Summer is such a wonderful time to enjoy
the art of drawing, and beginning water coloring. The children
will spend part of the week indoors learning the joy of painting a small
still-life, and then later in the week the class will paint out doors
and experience the wonder of fresh air painting. Each child will
bring home from this class not only beautiful art work, but also a new
appreciation for the possibilities for exquisite art in the simplest

and learn to layer paint using a mixture of matte finish and acrylics.
