Sports CampAges 4 through 13 years old![]()
Students will be given the opportunity to learn a variety of skills and then practice them in both traditional and non-traditional activities. Games such as Mission Impossible, Indiana Jones, Fortress, Capture the Flag, and Scatter T-Ball will be played as well as other new games. Instructor: Traci Birkett
Students will be discussing, learning, and playing different sports and games that are popular in other parts of the world. They'll be exposed to cricket, lacrosse, badminton, bocce ball and more. Children will be physically active all week while learning these popular sporting traditions from other countries. Instructors: Andrea Penski and Nini Hayes
Students will meet each morning at the school, then the group may walk over to Twin Ponds park to practice on the tennis court. Some practices may take place in our school's gym depending on the weather. Students may bring their racket from home or may use one of Evergreen's tennis rackets. Instructor: Stefano Rampazzo
Children will work on fundamental soccer skills. Both beginning and advanced players are welcome for skill building and healthy game competition. Instructor: Stefano Rampazzo
Jumping rope is a great way to have fun and stay active. Children will learn challenging rope skipping skills. Class activities will include instruction and demonstration in single rope skills, partner routines, double dutch jumping, long rope skills and group games. Camp is lead by Michelle Bolton with special guests: the Hot Dog USA Jump Rope Team. Instructor: Michelle Bolton
Children will be having fun all week learning and practicing fundamental sports skills. Focus is on team spirit, skill building, healthy game competition, and enjoyment of sports. Basketball, July 12 - 16
Learn to play the exciting game of Ultimate Frisbee. "Ultimate," is a non-contact sport that emphasizes teamwork, communication and good sportsmanship. Children will learn the fundamentals of the game as well as more advanced elements of the game such as different types of offense and defense. The sport is rapidly growing in popularity, especially at the high school and college levels, and is a fun game to play at any age. Instructor: JP Osseward
Ages 8 - 10
Welcoming both beginning and intermediate fencing students. Participants learn modern fencing focusing with foil. Students will be actively learning the footwork, hand work and blade work in a safe environment. This class will help improve coordination and reflexes. Fencing introduces an element of strategy and athleticism that will aid the student in a holistic view of health. Students should be prepared for vigorous activity. Appropriate athletic clothing should be worn.

The soccer goalkeeper is one of the most important players on the field - they are the last line of defense and the first line of attack. To play the position well requires special skills and training. If you are or would like to become your team's goalkeeper, this class will help you. Kim has his NSCAA State and Regional Goalkeeper diploma and USSF National D License for coaching soccer.
