Preschool Happiness Day CampAges 3 and 4 years old![]()
This week will be all about who we are and what makes us special. Each child will create their own "All About Me" book and be able to share stories and talents that make them unique. At the end of the week, we will have "show and share" time about what we each like and love.
Bug hunts, bird houses and worm digs! Children will explore and discover all the wonderful animals around us. From bugs to birds, we will look at the special qualities they all provide for our environment.
Yellow bananas, green peppers, red strawberries...what a delicious rainbow. Children will learn about all the yummy, colorful food that makes our bodies healthy. We will look at the food pyramid, cook up some delicious foods, and create our own recipe books.
Get ready to move and groove. We will be dancing and singing all week. Children will be making their own instruments and using them during our jam sessions. At the end of the week, we will bring all our instruments together to make the Preschool Camp Band.
Paints, glitter, clay...oh my! Get ready to have fun mixing and matching different colors and materials in order to create beautiful works of art. Each child will be taking home their own portfolio of all their masterpieces of the week.
This week children will turn into authors, illustrators and publishers, creating their own book of stories and pictures. We will tell stories by acting them out, making them up, and adding our own endings.
Come transform the classroom into the land where the dinosaurs roam. Children will be going on dinosaur digs and reading all about these prehistoric creatures. Be prepared to learn and create everything dinosaur.
Get ready to splish and splash in water all week long. We will be playing water games and experimenting with water in many exciting ways. Sprinklers, water toys, and bubbles are only a few of the countless ways in which the class will experience water. Please provide your child with a swimsuit, water shoes and towel each day this week. |
