As the head of The Evergreen School, Margaret's guidance, vision and
educational expertise sets the course of students' overall journey
through the school's curriculum. She has spent over 20 years leading
schools from primary to high school. Throughout her work
and free time, Margaret embodies the spirit of Evergreen, pursuing
a global lifestyle closely tied to the natural world through activities
such as traveling, hiking and gardening.

As the head of the primary division for The Evergreen School, Teri
brings her love of student learning, collaborative learning communities,
exceptionality & leadership. She has over 20 years in various educational
settings from the university level to the early childhood classroom.
Teri was also formerly the principal of an elementary school. She is
passionate about developing educational settings that foster the very
best in each student's learning. In her spare time, Teri loves to hike,
bike, swim, kayak, read and travel, and has recently discovered the
challenges of completing a triathlon.

Carmine (Chick) Chickadel, Upper Division Head, at Evergreen since
2001

Chick came to Evergreen from The Bush School, where he served for 13
years as dean, head of middle/high school English, and interim head
of the upper school. Chick has forty years of academic experience,
primarily in private and independent schools. He finds Evergreen's
creative, inquisitive community a natural fit and is constantly impressed
by the young minds surrounding him.

Danielle Ladd, Director of Special Programs, at Evergreen since 1993

As energetic as the children she cares for, Danielle thrives on their
enthusiasm and curiosity as she designs after-school and summer activities
that engage both mind and body in non-academic settings. She sees the
safety and comfort of our students from infancy through middle school
as her number one responsibility.

Robert
Miller, Chief Financial Officer at Evergreen since 2008

B.S. Accounting, The Ohio State University
Robert brings five years of experience as CFO and 20 years doing general management
consulting for businesses. He also taught accounting and other college
business courses for eight years including at the University of Washington.
When he is not crunching numbers, he is composing music for piano
and orienteering in an attempt to defend his World Master Games and
U. S. Championship gold medals.

Leslie Redd, Director of Admission, at Evergreen since 2004

Leslie has an extensive background in public policy, marketing, development
and event planning for such institutions as the Smithsonian, University
of Washington and Cornell University. In addition to managing the admissions
staff and volunteers, Leslie considers it her highest professional
priority to continue to develop Evergreen's high standing in the community,
as well as to maintain the excellence of newly admitted students.

Lynn Scriven, Teacher Coach, at Evergreen since 2000

With nearly 20 years of teaching experience, Lynn transitioned seamlessly
from a beloved fourth grade teacher here at Evergreen to an amazing
teacher mentor. Lynn also exhibits talent as a watercolorist and is
an intrepid traveler.

James Joseph, Diversity Coordinator, at Evergreen since 2005

James came to Evergreen with over nine years of teaching experience, most recently at The Head-Royce School in Oakland. At Head-Royce, James taught seventh grade math and science and was a middle school advisor. He also worked as the faculty technology coordinator, and mentored African American middle and high school male students in the "Boyz to Men" mentoring program. James has extensive experience coaching boys' and girls' middle school basketball, and played varsity basketball for Brown University.
