Testing Resources

All candidates who will be 5 or older by September 1, 2010 must submit standard IQ (intelligence quotient) test results with their application.

We prefer the Wechsler Intelligence for Children (WISC). Children younger than six may take the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence III (WPPSI III). Candidates for grades 4 - 8 must take the WISC III or IV (Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children III or IV).

Test results must fall within the superior range (95th percentile and above) to be considered for admission.

We suggest making an appointment for an IQ test as early as possible as clinicians' schedules fill quickly during the admission season.
